I know for a fact that it's not my computer, as it's ran Gmod flawlessly for months now and everything's been fine. So what's up with this and what can I do to make it darker like it normally is?

If you have TF2 then you get TF2 blood effects. Nothing wrong.
Hmm... That's odd, I've had all of Orange Box installed for quite a while and it's not done this. Oh well, thanks much!
