I've been hosting a TF2 server from time to time with no problems whatsoever. When I started it today, it had a password on it. I was bedazzled. I didn't put a password on it!
After checking the server.cfg and launch options for the server, it still had a password on it and the command "sv_password *password*" was nowhere to be found.
How do I fix this?
I can join the server when I change the password to something else, then fill in the password to join it; but how do I disable the password?

Someone has remote connected to your server and changed the password.
or a restart can fix the problem, check your autoexec.cfg and valve.rc
