Do you remember the first time you laid hands on gmod? I do. It was gmod nine. I was looking up about Gmod on youtube. Thought it looked neat. So I was gonna buy it, when I noticed that my Credit card didn't get new money on it till tomomrow. So I tried Gmod nine. I didn't have CS:S, but I bypassed that. Anyway, I thought it was amazing. I didn't have much time to play it though. Then I got it. Gmod. As soon as I pushed Q I went apeshit. I thought it was so much fun, just spawning props and killing NPCs. Then, I stepped into the world of Online.

When i frist played Gmod beta 5 with one of my friends and haven't gotta sick of it yet.
Mine was Gmod 9. I was surfing around the net when I saw a random screenshot of Gman In GM_Construct, the guys in the forum said that It was called Gmod so I typed It in Google and there It was, ready for It download.
At the beggining I though the game didin't require Steam nor HL2 Nor CSS, but as soon as It told me that It required those games I went crazy like shit cause I had no money back then to buy em, plus here in Argentina they were really expensive.
Whoever, I saved money for some long time (Till november 2006) and I got all the games I needed, I started playing Gmod then and wow, just awesome, the only I was doing though was kill NPC's and spawning random shit.
After playing Gmod, I decided to take a look to the forum to download some shit, but instead I found that Gmod10 was coming to Steam soon, I though awesome, It may be free, then I saw it was gonna cost 10 dolars.
I went like dipshit that day.

I got HL2 and found some random semi-active HL2 forum. I saw a forum about GMod 9 and was like hey this looks cool
So I downloaded it and dicked around with the tools
I didn't know you could attach thrusters to shit automatically, so I kept on spawning them on the map ceiling so they'd fall down. I didn't want to use easyweld for some reason.
So even making a gravestone with a thruster on was a difficult task.
Well I didn't know about "hold e to rotate" until after about 10 games.
My brother showed it (GMod v4) since I used to play Entmod on Half-Life quite often. Then I got hooked. :D
I didn't know how to spawn things until v6, too :P
I got gmod about a year and a half ago. IT'S MY FAVORITE GAME!
I remember, *Sips Hot Coco* Well, It was a cold winter that year.. Cold.. Heh, Seriously though I got into it from a friend. He was telling me about a zombie killing game for HL2 and I thought it sounded cool. He told me he had an extra copy and gifted it to me. That day i bought Garrysmod and haven't looked back.
Wow I played back waaaaay long ago. I can't even remember what it was. Was it like GMoD 3? or something I can't remember. It was like the first public released.
I still remember my shortsighted annoyance when garry changed the system from one gun per tool (Wheel shotgun, Balloon pistol, thruster shotgun) to putting it all one the one tool.
I didn't like it at the time, but it's really the only way it could have been, what with the number of tools there are now =)
Every Garry's mod had a different DM_construct map,won't it be cool to make a pack
with all of them?
I first played GMod 7, when I was a noob at first, I thought that I couldn't do anything else but spawn objects from the rocket launcher, but then I discovered the Q Spawn Menu, and it was great! Me and my friend played it, and we both really liked it. I just got GMod yesterday, and it's really fun!
I started playing at GMod 11, in May. I watched "Idiots of Garry's Mod" and thought it was hilarious, so I bought the game and I still love it.

I made that same mistake! I had no idea about the "Hold E to rotate" for over a month, I would always ask how people seem to perfectly align their stuff!

I got Gmod about half a year ago.
I was a Halflife junkie back then, I got Halflife 1 in 1999 ( when Steam was not available, I had to play it from a CD) and I remember that I played the whole game about 8 times. Then, I found out about Steam after my CD broke, and then I went on and randomly searched for some games, and found out about Garry's Mod. After reading the description, I thought it was a pretty cool game, and bought it. I messed around with thrusters and other stuff like that.
And that's where I am today.
I didn't join FacePunch until 2 months after playing Gmod.
** I'm playing HL2 : DM I'm in some RP server called Phoneburnia. I hear some fagot say "Gmod 9 is better than this." I ask him, 'So whats so bad about this server?" Well nothing, he says, just that Gmod nine you can get so many more things. You can weld without saying "!Weld" or freeze without saying "!Freeze". You don't have to say "!Spawn_Explbarrel" in order to spawn something. It's just, Easier, better and well, cooler.
So the next day I'm at my friend Sekyya's house, and he gets it for his laptop. I was so amazed at how well Garry has done, how much work he put into this. So, later when I had bought the pack with CSS and Gmod 10, I was practicly at my maximum to video game entertainment. No game besides Hl2 and Halo has done that before.

My friend showed me The idiots of garrys mod, and we went nuts. Its still my favourite game besides TF2
I remember it was about 2 weeks before my birthday, and I convinced my mom to buy it for me as an early birthday present. I got it Sunday around 3:00PM and skipped school Monday and Tuesday playing as much as I could because it rocked so much. My first contraption was in cs_assault, it was an elevator that used a winch to lift up by getting pulled on by a jeep. I put a Dr. Breen under it and let it fall and it bounced off his head, leaving him unphased. I lol'd.
I remember sitting there, watching attack of the show, (this wasn't the recent one, this was a LONG ASS time ago) and the end of the show came up, and Kevin was like, "With this new Half-life 2 mod, you can shoot babies out of a gun." The he said a lot more stuff. Then I remember him saying, "Thank you Garry!"
After the show was over, I ran to my pc and went to, "garry.tv" and the rest is history. :)

Gmod 11 is Gmod 10 except with the hl2:ep2 engine.
I remember i tried version 6 of gmod in early 2005, then i asked where he got it and he told me to get Half-Life 2 so i bought it and have been playing it since v7 in yeah april 2005 must it have been.
I remember my first time after seeing my brother posing ragdolls doing the Hitler-greeting.
This was v4 I believe.

i discover gmod 9 around Dec. 15th 2006 and played it and thought it was insane. I noticed gmod 10 was 10$ so i asked for it for Christmas, when i pressed Q my jaw literally hit the floor.

No it's called GMod.
When I first got gmod it was Gmod v7. I had watched alot of videos with my little sister on youtube. I fell in love with what you could do and got gmod 7. I thought well this is dodged. I opened console and put npc_create npc_combine_s.
It crashed :v:.
So I was a bit peeved that i couldn't spawn npc's because i didn't see an option.
So i advanced to gmod v8.3a. I was happier with it because i could spawn npcs.
I advanced to gmod 9 later, but thought this sucks, because it was a bit like like v8, but a bit modified.
I finally discovered GMod 10. Alot of fun has been and still is happening.

he just got it, so I went over and we stayed up until 5 in the morning playing with the thrusters and props and stuff.

I was posting a funny picture of CS:S on the picture of the day on I think it was PlanetHalflife. I noticed that they others had been done using GMod and I'm like: Hmm I should try this. So I got I got 8.3b, not long after it came out, installed it and opened the first Ravenholm level for whatever reason and experimented with the physgun on the legs and on a dead crow, throwing the crow up into the air and laughing hysterically. I then spawned some stuff and played with a few tools before deciding I needed more space so I went onto cs_cbble and started playing around. But I noticed that the ladders didn't work so then I discovered prop surfing and then a while after that I made sex poses with Kliener and Lamarr.
