i have had gmod for a month now and it always worked fine untilly today it says validateing files but then noting happens. please really need an awnser to this
Restart steam or reinstall Garrys mod. Happened to me before and that fixed it.
run steam in admin mode. tahts what i had to to
contacted garry support thing, for days, they couldnt help, useless suggestion... then some random guy said "safe mode"
and a bashed my head into a wall for my own stupidity
Right click Gmod, click Properties.
Go to "Local Files" and click "Verify integrity of game cache".
