How to DECREASE minging on your DARKRP server - Garry's Mod

1. Pick good admins differant timezones so their is an admin on alot 2. Put gun price up to like AK shipment 15k (cant buy them first time their on server) 3. Gun licenses 4. make tooltrust and phystrust disable toolgun and physgun for all players except the ones on the list 5. Prop cost change to 100 MAKE SURE YOU HAVE PICKED GOOD ADMINS WHO WILL ACTUALLY BAN PEOPLE WITHOUT HESITATION.

Or just ban them...these methods will only decrease it by a minor amount, banning works better as it scares the rest of the motherfuckers.

It'll never be possible to stop minging on DarkRP, your just adding to the problem by playing on it. Most minges are 12 year olds who can't afford a server so if you all give up your DRPs or change to a better gamemode the minges will have to learn or GTFO.

How to DECREASE minging on your DARKRP server - Shut the fucking thing down

Fail thread is pretty fail.

Get admins that are active. I used to have admin on a darkrp server, very few mingebags on it. I used to just use rp_arrest name 30 as first warning, Then kick as the second warning and then a 30 minute ban as the actual punishment. The more warnings you give a mingebag before the banhammer is used the more likely it is that will want to carry on thinking they have got away with it.

Maurits is right, you stop minges by switching to another gamemode. Like GmodRP.

So much GMordRP buttfucking, that gamemode is almost as abusable as DarkRP last time I checked, with all the useless shit that is included (flare gun for example). If you want a real un-abusable RP, just lock down sandbox like no tomorrow, if you can't RP without the script you are a tard.

Flare gun has been removed from the latest update as far as I know.

DarkRP is horrible! Use Cakescript, or Catscript, or Tacoscript.

If anything you are ignorant for not actually giving it a chance and looking at other peoples opinions, I suggest you look in a dictionary and see what a word means before using it in a attemptive insult. If I were truly ignorant I wouldn't have been posting in the GModRP thread offering small bits of advice and criticism, whereas you just kept posting in the DarkRP thread to flame the maker, troll it up, and just be a small child about everything. However, spam is a larger problem, mostly of tools. Cop abuse is also all the rage. For example, a cop broke into my store, said i needed a permit for all my products (even though the server had no permits), stole all of my stuff, then crashed the server. But after the server came back up they gave (most) of my stuff back. DarkRP is sometimes fun, sometimes a load of shit. Theres no reason to rant OR defend it. My biggest problem with DarkRP isn't rlly the RDM, or NLR. My biggest problem is that DarkRP has been buttfucked with millions of stupid addons like durgz mod (thats how its actuallly spelled :eng101:,) and lots of modified CSSRW weapons.

:ughh: What ever happened to RP threads where you post ideas to improve an RP gamemode? OR introducing a brand-new RP mode that promotes character development and a governmental system? But NOOOOOO that would make sense! Can't have that can we?! All we do now is rant on DarkRP. DarkRP sometimes sucks, sometimes is pretty fun. We dont have to defend or rant on it because it's YOUR own opinion! Nobody cares what you think, they believe what they want to. Its like trying to convert someone's religion. Just think "Jehovah Witnesses" (no offense to the Jehovah Witnesses) whenever you try to change someones beliefs about DarkRP.
