I think that PlayerConnect clientside shouldn't have the IP included, as people who like to buy things from hackforums like to get my ip via overriding/hooking into PlayerConnect, and getting my address when I join the game.

In Garry's Mod 12 and the earlier versions of 13, you could still do it. Although you can't now; which was probably changed within only the last couple revisions I think.
I remember using PlayerConnect just a week or two ago and I was able to get peoples IP addresses when they joined; although I have no malicious usage for it so I scrapped the script afterwards.
