Dark RP - Freakin' Sweet Idea (Feedback & Suggestions, Please)

I'm currently running a Dark RP server, and I really want to make it stand out [i](yeah, I know, don't flame me)[/i].
I've been working on some custom jobs and whatnot, and I had this strangely awesome idea:
[i]I'm not going to allow any actual lawless jobs (Gangster, Drug Dealer, Hitman, etc.), and just let the players roleplay it.[/i]

Because when you think about it (not even that hard), most people either introduce themselves as 'John Everyman' or 'John Awesomeman', not 'John Badman' (you don't make it openly known that you're a criminal).

This way:
The Mob would be secretive, and more able to carry out illegal actions without cops who can't RP for shit breathing down their necks all the time. AND, they might even infiltrate the Police force.

Mr. 'John Everyman' can secretly be 'John Badman' without anybody actually knowing.

Of course, this is still possible even with Mob jobs, but not nearly as awesome.

So what do you guys think? Good idea? Bad idea? AWESOME idea? "GTFO DARKRP SUCKS"?

It's naive to think that people are going to play the way you dream it. Even if you say this is how it's supposed to work, people are too triggerhappy tools to RP correctly. Not saying DarkRP is bad, it's just the majority of the players not shit all about RP.

Well if there's no Mob jobs, then they'd have to RP that way if they wanted to be a criminal.
I know it's naive to think that, but I still think it's a freakin' sweet idea.

Hopefully, I'll have some admins watching almost all the time to deal with shitty RPers.
I actually can't see any major downsides with my idea. But maybe I'm just not thinking hard enough.
