Fixed SteamAppId 211 for StudioCompiler/MDLcompiler
8 replies, posted
Well I know cannonfodder like disappeared so I decided to fix his problems. I fixed that annoying "SteamAppId 211" thing. Since like nobody visits his forum and i'm sure there are tons of people who need this I decided to fix the links and fixes to these programs: MDLdecompiler, StudioCompiler, and WinBSPzip.
Remember I didn't not create this fully, I edited it to make it work again.

At the forum you can post your comments/concerns and what else you'd like to see added. If you are good at working with already compiled exe's please PM me a way to contact you, i'm hoping to add some features. Also contact me if you can convert ASM to c++ :).
-Thanks Eric
Good job; I really needed this to be fixed!
-Thanks Eric
No problem :), glad to see that people accaully use it :), I hope to update it soon.
I can't find anything in the link.
The thread is 3 years old. Do you really think this fix applies anymore? And that the site would still hold such a old fix?
Epic bump.

I haven't been here in a LONG time but I noticed Valve updated their wiki with my fixed version of MDLDecompiler if anyone still uses it.

Valve doesn't update the wiki that much. Most likely it was just someone who saw the link, downloaded it and thought that it's a good idea to share it with others.
