ok i have Gmod on MY account. Now All the other Source games i have are on my Fathers account (not CSS thats on both) now i have about 90% of the games Dled on my computer (not TF2 and HL DM) Now i just Dled Portal cause i was missing the gun model. but after i dled it, the model still doesnt come up in game.
is there some way to like...idk import or merge the portal files into my Gmod so that i have the portal models,textures, ect or will i have to reinstall Gmod to do so?
Also im not 100% sure i have all the other models either Since the games arent on my account.

Wait, You got two different user accounts, and one steam account?
No i have 2 steam accounts.
Steam doesn't like copy and pasting models and materials
Well i had all the other HL Games HL2,Ep1,Ep2 before i dled Gmod and im pretty sure i have all the textures,mats ect from them in my gmod.
Source games need to be owned on the same account as Gmod for them to work with Gmod.
You /could/ use GCFscape to extract the models from your dad's account files and place them in yours, but it's a time-consuming, space-wasting process and you don't get spawnlists anyway.
