Low FPS and random crashes

I Keep crashing and looseing fps for no reason.

High or low settings makes no diffrincee

Memory:
8012MB RAM
Hard Drive:
750 GB
Video Card:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285

Also im a bit new (I just started useing my account) And im hopeing never to get banned

Is this for all Source games, or just Garrysmod? Don't want to sound like a broken record on the forums, but are your video drivers up to date? What kind of performance do you get in other games? Also, try setting Core affinity after you start the game to one particular core. Perhaps the game is having trouble with your processor.
