I've just got into Garry's mod and source filmmaker, and all has been going well (following tutorials/searching forums) but there is a question or two that I cannot seem to find an answer to. WARNING: I am very new to gmod, so please excuse my ignorance!
1. Is there any way to save a model that I have edited in gmod to my computer, so that I can put it into SFM? E.g. I change the colour of a spartan model from white to orange, and want to put that edited model into Sfm.
2. More of a query, when using the body changer tool, a message on the top left corner reads "Something is causing a script error." Anyone have an idea why?

I don't know about number one as I've no idea what you're talking about, but if you want a bit of an idea of what's going on when it gives you that scripting error, go to the console and it displays an error.
If you just use the colour tool in Gmod, it won't save that to the model permanently. You have to edit the model in an external tool. I also don't know SFM but using there already a tool there to change the colour of a model?
Change your Spartan Model to the Orange one and then change the bodygroups in SFM.
