This is more of a question than anything else. I have two steam accounts- one that I actively play on, and one that a friend gave to me before they went to join the Army. My friends account has the Orange Box on it, (so Hl2 and the two episodes+TF2), while my account owns pretty much all of the Source games, (L4D, CS:S, TF2, HL2, Ep1). Now the problem that I'm having is that I'm trying to load up a map from Ep2 (which I have installed from my friends account), however I'm encountering purple/black squares EVERYWHERE. Is there a way to mount Ep2, or do I have to own it in order to be able to mount it?

You could [i]try[/i] using gm_mount2, but I don't know if it likes files on another account.
So just use that in the console?

No dice- it doesn't seem to want to un-check the boxes, despite the fact that I have the game installed.
You could transfer the material files into your steam folder. That might work. Then again I don't know shit about how they work.
