When I attempt to launch Garry's mod, it gives me the game unavailable message. I followed the Steam help page, and nothing works. All other games work. :confused:
Just restart Steam, it usually sorts it out.
Usually deleting clientregistry.blob the restarting steam fixes this but not always, I have done everything on the steam support page and my gravitron 2 still refuses to play.
I get the unavailable message every now and then, and all I do is restart Steam. That works for me every time.

Have you checked your task manager and verified that there aren't any interfering programs running (aside from the obvious AV/FW). You could try rebooting your machine and see if that helps. If not, I'm stumped ><
