So, I'm pretty new to Gmod, but I've decided to start actually doing something.
An essential part of that is got to do with servers. So, what addons should I have before entering a server, and what things should I keep in mind. I mean stuff like spawning turrets (seems to have a quota) and things... really hard to say since I don't have a clue [I]at all[/I]
Also, I'd love to hear about some basic (but more advanced than the ones that come with the game) tutorials to get me started on building stuff.
When you connect a server you'll download addons automatically.
People doesn't like to awser questions, so read the MOTD (Message of the day, the window that appears when you join a server)
Things like "How I use the pyhzgun", Or "How do I fly" Are quite stupid, try singleplayer before going into multiplayer.

Thanks. I have played singleplayer for a few weeks now, but achieved little, so I thought I'd go on a server to see what kinds of stuff people do there. Since just the most epic battlemechs get posted as videos, and the simplest monkey shit stuff has tutorials made of it... that I've found that is.

This list is for a CLIENT. If you want recommended addons for a SERVER, download all of the wanted addons in the list above, except smartsnap, and then look for some good tools, such as weight tool etc.
