Hey guys, fkdlrj603 (RamenBo1) here, so im pretty new to the game but i played gmod 9 for a month and decided to buy GM10 (best 10 bucks i spent in my life)... It hasn't even been a month and i already have like a 4 GB archive and i want to clean it up (reinstall or sumthing). So here is the question...
1. Would uninstalling local files and reinstalling the game thru steam "My games" list let me keep my addons such as sum adv_dupe, maps, game mods and a shitload of addons?
2. Is there like some sort of a client cleaning method that would make my game run better?
cuz i got this consol error saying that "(command blocked) crosshair 1" so i have no crosshair (i downloaded a crosshar pack to take care of the problem but its kinda annoying)
Btw. my PC is capable of running the game very well i think i just screwed up...
3.Is there any way to make your game run smoother?
4. any tips or useful info. on the game it self will be nice...

Crosshairs are blocked all together. You can get rid of the annoying console spam by removing your cross hair addon.
What I usually do when I clean out gmod is go into the addons folder, and only take out the addons you use regularly, then go into data/advanced duplicator and take out the dups you want. then, copy and paste these in a folder, and move it to another spot. then, delete the garrysmod folder (the one with the models/materials/lua etc. folders in it). after you have done this, open up garrysmod. once you get to the main menu, exit back out of garrysmod, and go to where the old gmod folder used to be, and now you have a brand new clean gmod folder. then you can take all the files and addons you saved, and put them back in.
