Spacebuild 3 - Garry's Mod - Facepunch Forum

I got a SB3 server finally but I installed it into addons(works) however the server shows under Sandbox not under SpaceBuild 3? I don't know what I have to do to fix this issue any ideas or fixes? - Thank you :D

I'm not sure if Spacebuild is updated to work with GM13. But if it's not that could be the problem.

For it to run on Spacebuild 3 it would have to be a gamemode, but because it's an addon it will automatically run Sandbox, because Gmod thinks your running a huge addon and not a gamemode. I guess there are a few ways of fixing this, but I think the best solution which is what you want, for it to not be on sandbox( which I am pretty sure is what you are asking ) you would have to switch the sv_tags to something like gm:spacebuild3 or something. Because right now it's running gm:sandbox for you I think. Hopefully I answered some of your question.

I've tried what you said and didn't work. Any other ideas?

A while back SB3 had a "dummy" gamemode you could download along with the main SB3 addon, this was before the SVN's were changed around. I haven't been able to come across it so I can't provide an official source, but I still have a copy of it on our servers. Just place it in the gamemodes folder (keep the folder name the same, and in lowercase), then place [b]gamemode "sb3"[/b] in your server.cfg and it should show up as SpaceBuild 3 once you restart.
