Journey of the Stars - 1950s Based SpaceRP - Garry's Mod

Background on the RP: Space, 75,000 Fathoms above us, the enternal silence that it provides. Man has conquered the frontiers of earth, and space is his last. The 1940's showed us the wrath of humankind, wars, disputes, politics.. all lead to one thing. Destruction. ..or so it seemed. During all this war, a lone spaceship managed to make its succesful journey into space, and also its succesful mission to leave our solar system. The ship, Journey of the Stars, had a crew of 200+, all in stasis, programmed to head towards a new hope of life out in the galaxy. Now, some 500 years later, this mission has come to its end, the Journey of Stars has reached its destination, and the people within, have embarked upoun a new era of humankind, and frontier, the colonization of a new planet.. a new world. To the inhabitants, it had only seemed like a year had passed. The 'New 1950's' had begun, and so had a new human race. JOURNEY OF THE STARS This new RP, is quite radical, I was tired with all the boring starship troopers rp, fallout rp, and stalker rp. I thought it was time for something a little bit new. So I came up with an idea, what if the 1940's space program actually made it into space, and also had the technology to explore space? This is the essence of Journey of the Stars, my 1950's Orientated SpaceRP. HOW YOU CAN HELP: Yes, I need help, a scripter, modeller, admin and players.. Server is not up, and its still in development, I just need a confident, trusting and good LUA scripter to make this dream of mine come true. So, if intrested just PM me, with example of what you've done, what you've played on, and why you want to join EXTRA INFORMATION, FOR THE POTENTIALS Yes, i know most of you will instantly think this is a fallout rip-off, and you couldn't be more right, except for one thing, its not. The whole point of this RP is to RP something few people do, what would it be like for a bunch of 1940's-50's space explorers to be like living, colonising a new planet. What has this new world got in store for them? And who the hell is going to be the next president? ABOUT THE CREATOR Keen RP'er, mature, and kind. Something you don't often find on most Gmod Servers, let alone RP ones. My aim is to make this RP server a very unique experience, hiring only those who I see fit, and those who I know are mature, useful and good admins/players. Website and stuff is not up either, this is still being BRAINSTORMED, but hopefully one day it will be a reality. So, please, reply, ask me something, as I really want to get this up and running..
