Hey guys. Ever since I have had gmod10, I have had a graphics issue with the game. I never encountered these problems with gmod9, but I bought gmod10 the first day it came out so I have had it for a while now. The problem is, when I'm playing any server, multi-colored lines are drawn across my screen in a diagnole pattern. On one side of this line, a transparent sheet of colors appear too. The colors change when I look at a different angle but sometimes the effect does not appear at all. It only appears when I look in specific directions. I do also play CS:S alot and nothing happens there. It's great graphics on CS:S. Here are some screenshots and specs:

amazing picture quality
Change the software directX verison to 9.0 to match the hardware.
Alright so I went into my game. Options > Video > Advanced and both Software and Hardware DirectX is blocked off- I mean theres no dropdown box for both of them. Is there another way to change DirectX versions of it? I'll search around. Most likely a startup parameter.
Right click garrysmod -> properties -> set launch options -> "-dxlevel 90" (no quotes) You may also need to change the 90 to 80 if it still doesn't work.
