I'm fairly new to RPing, but I noticed on [GU]'s server, the police seem nowhere to be found.
People end up robbing shops, constantly killing for money, and door-trapping you. The cops seem to do nothing. At least on their server...
Can anyone tell me a server that actually utilizes the police force?
Dark Rp it sucks. Any dark rp srever, probably not. There's serious HL2 Tacoscript roleplay but it civil protection, and they just end up beating and or humiliating you.

And that's all what Tacoscript is for you if you have a life.
The police don't play their role well.

The gamemodes and their players often don't make it easy. DarkRP lets you see criminals through walls, and it's hard to find a server where there's another cop, let alone criminals who don't shoot you on sight.
Of course, I've never been a cop on anything but DarkRP and GmodRP (I actually like RPing a normal citizen).
I remember this one time there was a hostage situation and the only Police officer went to the wrong house and shot the place and the owner up with a DEagle o_o
Because you shoot the first suspect that you see in real life.

DarkRP could really benefit with some actual handcuffs, for holding suspects for questioning.

actually the suspect would bring an AK to shoot the cop if he aproaches.

Not on a good DarkRP server. I've actually been on one where I managed to get the mayor to make anything more powerful than a pistol illegal, and I (as a cop) went around confiscating the gun dealers' AKs.
