I Thought there used to be a Gmod 9 game-mode called cops and robbers. Is there such a thing in Garrysmod now?
What I want Bank robbery to be is a short, fretta like, game-mode where there are 2 teams; Security and Robbers.
The security team would be armed with stun-sticks, Pistols, and maybe HMG/SMGs.
The robbers team would be armed with with Silenced pistols*, Cloaks**, and a small explosive for the vault.
-The teams would only have 1 or 2 clips for their guns and there wouldn't be ammo in the level.
*the silenced pistol would be the default HL2 pistol with a pop can parented to its V_model and W_model (similar to kilburns melonium), and the gun would not make sound.
**the cloak would be a swep that changes the players material and alpha to one of 4 common materials in the map.
My current skills enable me to make maps and or sweps for this gamemode, although my specialization is in mapping.
If something like this already exists point me in the right direction, As I want it on my server.
Wow woudn't you know it. I was actually goign to start a thread on this very subject. I think it would be an awsome idea if someone did make one ( I would make one myself but I don't have the capactiy or patience to code )
