Not the conventional lag spikes, i mean, MAJOR LAG. Whenever i get into a server (This hardly ever happens on some) its just lags ALOT, like i can move around for 1 second then it lags for 3 seconds. That happens over and over again in a row for as long as im in the server.
Any help?

Get rid of some addons / check that your internet isn't been used up by someone else. Maybe set your rate to 30k too.
Sounds like you either have really bad internet or a really bad computer. Type net_graph 1 in console and check your ping and FPS, that well tell you your problem.

Net_graph 1 is a possible solution detector, if you are getting over 50 loss and choke, THATS SOME REAL LAG.

Lol you have no idea what you are talking about. Do you even know what net_graph 1 shows? The only two problems that he would see lag from is either his internet or his computer. Net_graph well show him his ping and his FPS.
And wtf is a data cap? You mean bandwith cap? You really need to do some research before you come flying in here not even knowing what your talking about.
