So I exited Gmod because I was using Fraps and when I tried to get back on, my computer crashed and I had to force quit. When I tried to enter Gmod again, a messasge comes up that says:
"Could not connect to Steam network.
It appears that you are not currently connected to the Internet, or that your Internet connection is not configured correctly for Steam.
Either check 'Retry', or start Steam in 'Offline Mode'.
Then there's a link to Nework troubleshooting tips and two boxes below it saying "Retry connection" and "Start in offline mode" and a box below that saying "Quit".
When you click on either button, my computer loads for half a second, goes Ding!, and another message appears that says:
Could not connect to Steam network.
This could be due to a problem with your Internet connection, or with the Steam network. Please visit www.steampowered.com for more info.
The problem obviously isn't the internet connection because I'm typing this, but maybe the configuration changed? I dun't even know what a configuration is! This was the first time I used Fraps, so maybe that's the problem. Please help me! I can't use any Steam games at all!
See below
No Steam for me either. :(
Delete clientregistry.blob in the Steam Directory
Try deleting clientregistry.blob in your steam directory, then starting steam again. Worked for me.

Fuck yes, I  you. :D
THANKS MAN!!!
Thanks! I also got that! Now it works again!
I get something similar, the only different thing is that I don't get that. It just says connecting steam account *****..... and never opens steam. I've deleted every possible thing, re installed steam, everything. What should I do?
