Steve Jobs is one of the most influential people in technology. Ever. But my dad's boss has met Steve Jobs (I'd say they might be acquaintances, Carmack and Jobs go well together) and working with him is basically walking on needles.
So, he's not a nice guy to work for, but he's pretty damn smart.
