I've been playing garry's mod a lil while now, and experienced a few problems. I'm not sure if it's just me or what.
First off the amount of health I have and ammo thing doesn't appear at the bottom of the screen :/
Also when I try to give NPCs weapons the menu just closes itself so I can't arm NPCs. The drop down menu I mean
Could anyone help me please? Garry's Mod is my all time favourite game but these things get frustrating. The only things I can fight are Zombies and Antlions.
I'm on a Dell Vostro 1520 with intel core 2 duo and Vista.

For the health thing: Open the console and type in "cl_drawhud 1"

Sorry about double post, but is it the same key to open the console as in couterstrike? cause I tried ` but nothing happened :/

There's a cvar that enables/disables the gui and vgui. I don't remember what it is......
