• Problem with my server.cfg, puzzled.

I currently have a small 5 person server (remote hosting) for my friends and I. I got tired of changing game settings manually every time we ended up restarted the server so I added a bunch of commands to my server's "server.cfg" file. However whenever I add the new game commands to the file and restart the server, the server cannot be connected to and displays massive lag with upwards to 1400k ping on the view server list, or doesn't appear on valve's server lists at all! Originally it contained: hostname "Server Name Was Here" rcon_password "Password here" This is what I've changed it to: hostname "Server Name Was Here" rcon_password "Password here" sv_tags "wiresvn, enginemod, gcx, gcombat, phx" map "gm_flatgrass" sbox_allownpcs "1" sbox_godmode "0" sbox_maxballoons "64" sbox_maxbuttons "64" sbox_maxdynamite "32" sbox_maxeffects "128" sbox_maxemitters "32" sbox_maxhoverballs "64" sbox_maxlamps "32" sbox_maxnpcs "5" sbox_maxprops "256" sbox_maxragdolls "32" sbox_maxthrusters "64" sbox_maxturrets "32" sbox_maxvehicles "32" sbox_maxwheels "64" sbox_noclip "1" sbox_playergod "0" sbox_plpldamage "0" The weird part is if I go into my server via ftp and remove the extra commands I added and save, the server immediately pops up with regular ping again! Without a restart! If someone could help I would really appreciate it.
Try removing the tags. Specifically, the sv_tags line as a whole.
Oddly enough the sv_tags work. I just installed ULX on the server, would that interfere with those commands? I ask because it seems I can't use rcon from my web base admin anymore since I've installed it.
