ok hi everyone im asking a question about the toybox thing and how it has stopped me from downloading new stuff onto gmod, usually for the addons i get they go to the addons folder in gmod but when you go in there, there is a toybox folder and i dont know where to put my stuff can anyone help this all might sound confusing its because im confused.

kinda you know how they brought out the new toybox, well when i go ti steam then my username then steammapps then garrysmod then garrysmod and then i click o addons the toybox is situated in addons when there are meant to be another addons folder in the addons folder like old days so you could put addons in there but now there aint no addons folder in it i cannot put my original stuff where it is meant to be so im asking if anyone nos where i am meant to put it now

You put your addons in garrysmod/addons
Whats stopping you from doing it?
toybox the toybox thing is in my addons usually in the addons folder there is another addons folder where you put your addons but it aint there no more it had been replaced with toybox
There's usually only one addons folder:

I have it like this. You can still put your addons in there...
hmmmmmmmmmmmmm on my other comp it was addons then another addons im pretty sure ill try and put something in my addons and ill see if it works because on my other comp the dow playermodels went in addons along with combine mech im sure

nope i put in helicopter vehicle and its an addon i put it in addons and it doesn't show up on gmod.
