Is goremod with bones a fake? - Garry's Mod

ive downloaded it and it doesn't do anything it doesn't destroy the body and there's no bones. ive uninstalled all the other goremods i had before it doesn't work

Same here, the guy doesn't put the instructions in the read me very clear... Here's the quote: "okay first... this is my first add on i love blood in games so I'm going make a dismemberment mod its FULL realistic put it in to /steam/steam apps/account name/Garry's mod/Garry's mod/and then put materials into- materials and lua... thanks for downloading don't worry this is my first add on" I think I need to worry if it is your first add on... I had to edit every other word because of his spelling. Quite pathetic really.

Well, I took a look at the files compared with regular gore mod, and it looked legit, but I don't know. Might just be some BS files named bones and skeletons or whatever.

It's definatly a piece of shit. Maybe it doesnt work if you have Dismemberment Mod though...

I tried it to I knew it was a fake from the start NO FACE PUNCH THREAD and when i looked in the info it said it was Dismemberment Mod 1.9 maker Cmaster so this dude just did a shitty edit.

I'm pretty sure if something like this was released, there would be instructions and a thread about it.

All he did was edit the autorun file to gib huge ragdolled legs arms and intestines. If you were to dismember an arm, a leg would fall out (or a spine.)

i hav downloaded the disemberment mod with bones and ive got the exact same problem as everyone else. Why the fuck would someone upload a bogus file? He should be fucking shot

On the pictures those guts are from the headspack, he just putted loads of them together to make them look like guts.

It's just another failed attempt at editing Dismemberment mod without permission. Just like CMasta said, it just has random oversized SMod gib models spurt out when you dismember a limb. I could barely even get it working at first. Don't even waste your time with this crap.

Hah, the dumbshit that uploaded it edited the description asking why it was reported. Even when theres big text above the pictures saying "If this is your file, don't waste your time editing the description to say the file is safe, if you do your file will be automatically deleted when it gets checked."

Cmasta's dismemberment is good too lol but well im uninstalling it cuz i wanna try that goremod out tomorrow oh and ITZ AWESOME :D

This mod is a joke. I knew it was bogus as soon as I pulled up the README. Then I looked at the Info.txt file and saw Cmasta's name...and realized he was trying to rip Cmasta off.

Guys I know why it dont work Okay first after you open the zip extract it to garrysmod/garrysmod Then open up the folders and go into materials folder there will be a bloodstream and bloodsplash if you go into them there are Lua Files Move those folders to the Lua folder in the garrysmod/garrysmod folder it works for me now :)

You guys are ridiculous for giving full credit to CMasta for Dismemberment Mod. Once upon a time, ralle105 released gore-mod. It was very good but he couldn't continue developing it. So CMasta adopted it and updated it, and called it Dismemberment Mod (he continued to give credit to ralle105 for the original). By bones they mean the bones in the ragdoll's skeleton. Not bones sticking out, but bones getting destroyed. This shit IS fake. Ralle105 then released GibSplat and now GibSplat2 is underway, with real bones, flesh etc sticking out of limbs and more.

I'd rather not use Dismemerment mod since it makes my gmod all glitchy but yeah it's a fake.

Yeah I know, I mean can't someone post a decent goremod? I've found a bunch, maybe about 7/8 of them working slightly well yet like oOMatOo just stated, dismemberment mod does make Gmod glitchy. One time I found a mod that was so bad that when you slam a ragdoll on the ground, more ragdolls pop out of it it was so glitched.
