• GMod keeps crashing

System hardware specs - Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4600+ 2.40GHz - RAM: 2.00GB - Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GS - Operating System: Windows Vista 32-bit Addons you have installed - Wire - PHX Model Pack - Tiled Model Pack - Smart Constraint - Smart Snap Garry's Mod keeps randomly crashing when I play it. I have no idea why its doing this... Any help would be greatly appreciated. P.S. It's not just Garry's Mod, CS:S, TF2 and just about every other thing I play, including my internet browser, all crash frequently with no explaination.
Hmmm, sounds like spyware or a virus if you ask me.

If your internet browser also crashes, it sounds like a problem with Windows, which could be because of a virus. Try doing a virus scan
I checked, there is no virus.
I have the same processor, however... My graphic card, which is 8800GT, makes me crash sometimes. I'm really sure it's your graph card. Type -dxlevel 81 in the launch proprieties and see what happens.

What I'll say may be stupid, but isn't it a temperature problem?
I don't think a temperature problem would make his internet browser crash, but anyway, star firefox, check temps with HWmonitor. You can get HWmonitor here [url]http://www.cpuid.com/download/hwmonitor/HWMonitor_114_setup.exe[/url]
