The game starts up normally goes to my menu background
the loading bar comes up and goes through everything but then stops at intializing serverside.
the screen goes black and when i close the program through Ctrl+Alt+Del its says hl2.c has stopped working.
HELP ME
Initializing Serverside can take a while. Takes around 30 seconds or a minute on mine.

Try updating video drivers, it could be a graphics problem.
one of my friends changed the launch options as well.it didnt fix it and now i cant remember it
it was dxlevel 81 or sumthin
but it still doesnt work
