so iwhen i launch gmod it says "Failed to load the launcher DLL: %1 is not a correct win32 program/application"
i tried to re-install the game twice..did not work though..

I installed .NET Framework 4.0 but it still wont launch :(
I also installed the 3.5 but when it is finished it says "installation error" then just "exit"
Yes I think there is a new exploit around garry's mod and you should check if it also deleted important files such has hal.dll( c:\windows\system32\hal.dll )
After you get that dll back( which guarantees you can start your computer again ), you should see into fixing garry's mod.
so i should just search for hal.dll on my computer,and if that file doesnt exist..can i just download it ?

Did some search and it seems reinstalling the game fixes your problem( delete the .gfc and the garrysmod folder ).
Something that also helps is not joining servers with fake players and PERP3 beta

Yes, re-downloading hal.dll should work, but still, you need to find a version to your OS

this is a universal HAL.DLL that works on windows XP and higher
Also, you should reinstall steam or find what dll is related to game launching.. can you launch any other game?

Something else I found is, as originally posted:
Open Steam > Tab My Games > Right Click ->yourgame<-, Properties > Tab Local files..
Then Verify integrity of game cache...
And finally do Defragment cache files.

Note: You don't replace your hal.dll if you already have it.. only download a hal.dll if your one is missing / corrupt( random bytes )
I can launch counter strike:source half life 2 :DM and day of defeat:source but now i dont really know what you mean i need to replace the hal.dll file or i wont be able to start my comp? i mean i did start it many times b4 so why wouldnt it start now ? :D just send links and tell me EXACTLY what to do :D

Yes i did,and now i did this free thing that looks after errors in file thingys.. and it was 114 errors that occures the users on the computer and 334 errors that is about the windows account ? and it says the register never has been defragmentated or what u say ?
If you are using a registry cleaner, you might go ahead and try optimizing and fixing whatever it asks to.. as far as it doesn't ask you to buy it..
