Hey..
I'm trying to join a Gmod server and actually, no way. It does not respond, and only for me. I tried using a different connection, but I still can't join. I think this probably means I have a problem on my computer (or not?).
I can record a packet log with wireshark if needed.
Anyone to help? I can join all other servers.
Hmm, sounds to me the server is just broken, or rejecting you, or your ports are closed that the server needs, or vice versa. Anyways, go do this.
Go to the server, right click> view info> server ip. (Ex; 12.356.23.12:[b]27035[/b] <- port number.
Go portforward that number, and try again.
I believe theres a site that does that for you. I think its called [url]www.portforward.com[/url] if I'm not mistaken. Just choose the router model you have and then the game and your all set.
Sorry for late response. The problem is that the server is blocking my region in France (due to strange reasons). Is there a way to use a proxy server for gmod? This feature can't be missed...

it doesnt do it for you. all that does is tell you you need to forwar certain ports. and thats for a dedicated server. so im pretty sure forwading your port will do anything. i suggest contacting to owner of the server if you pplay there alot cause there might be server issuse

oh ok. lol i just read your latest post. um idk how to use proxys but again you can contact the server owner and ask if they can add france to there regions for the server. good luck :D
