Could some turn those models into vehicles? If you could could you also make them shoot? please?
I just thought that these would be awsome vehicles, but I don't know how turn them into vehicles myself....
Making them shoot is a different thing, but you can make a normal vehicle just by copying another vehicle and changing the model path.
Um ok I can copy stuff, that easy, but how can I change the model path?
Open it's lua/text file, search for model until you find one with a path right next to it and then rewrite the path to make it lead to your model.
ok I'll try to

ugh, my little noob brain hurts....
ok so, I copied a vehicle script from
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\USERNAME\garrysmod\garrysmod\scripts\vehicles
and renamed it. Now where am i supposed to find the path that you said I need to rewrite?
You need to change the paths INSIDE the file, I.E, If there are any lines in the text file that says; "models/failcar/wincar.mdl" Just change those lines, into whatever the model path is to the props/models you want to be vehicles.
Got that?
oh, ok...

English, please.
I cant open most of the files to change the path, and I've tried downloading Notepad++ but I cant get it to work....
Find the vehicles name that you WANT to be the model of the vehicle.
Copy that name and put it in the model part in the Lua, and save it.
Actually read this though, it might actually help.

Certainly not. You have to copy-paste the path to the model from the main folder.
Also, try changing the filetype to .txt from .lua, it should help.
Woops, sorry. I was pretty tired when I was typing that :downs: But yeah, you should get the idea
