Just a quick question. I need some help with SVN.
I have noticed that when I download a mod through SVN, the program will say an amount of MB/GB it has downloaded, but the windows explorer properties window tells me a completely different number.
For instance, PHX3. The program said 250 MB. The properties says 1.2 GB.
Which one is correct? And could it be caused by all those hidden .svn folders?
Do I even need those .svn folders?
Please help, I am very concerned for my HDD space.

The SVN program only [I]downloaded[/I] 250 mb. But then all the ".svn" files make it 1.2 GB.
This is where Exporting comes in. Read about exporting and what it does in the tutorial.

Ok one last question. Can I export to addons, then update the folder in addons?
Or do I need to keep the original folder, update from there and export the new version every time I update?
