What do you think would be a good story for a GMod machinima :D - Garry's Mod

Hello, I have owned gmod 10 for about 4 years now and yesterday was the first time I watched the full "war of the servers". The longest video / storyline I have ever seen in a gmod movie or even on youtube itself. 1:49 hours It goes on for :D. I wanted to have a shot at making a GMod full length movie :D [b]WHAT WOULD BE THE MOST AWESOME STORYLINE FOR A GMOD MOVIE[/b] I was actually thinking about making it a mafia / gangster film.

set it in cs_italy and they shooot dennis the rat because he ratted them out to the cawps

Making a full-length movie in Gmod is going to require a hell of a lot of time, money being spent, and many skilled people working for a long time.

Why does money need to be spent? GMod and Garrysmod.org have everything we need. Perhaps one based in the HL2 universe? But you need to remember that if you do take someones idea from this thread, you need to credit them a little.

Yeah, you sure as hell do have alot of possible cast members. You could maybe ask people in your server for ideas?

I have an idea: Remake 1984 in Garry's Mod

A dumb guy, a smartass and a smart guy, those would be great characters.

You could go with a HL2 based thing, like someone previously mentioned, like this is what Im thinking: You start of, by seeing yourself as young, 19 years old or something like that, and your home gets invaded by combines, and your mom, dad, possibly brother/sister is killed, while you're hiding in the closet, or something like that. You declare a vendetta (blood revenge), and join a small group of rebels and do shit and stuff. You end up killing Breen. Something like that.

You could make a sci-fi movie or a machinima based in the HL universe like Pandemix said, something serious, not some random objects thrown at a npc, explosions or oversized heads (I've got nothing against that, but there are too many videos like that on youtube :rolleyes: ).

Its a good recorder AND it comes with every source game.

You do as busymonkey said, but at the end he runs into breens office, in slow mo, breen shoots him in the head, and it shows the gun firing and cartridge falling etc
