Im relatively new to gmod and I noticed a lot of things that upset me.
NOT THE GAME, BUT THE PEOPLE IN THE GAME ONLINE
(except the bit about trying to weld something together and have it suddenly fly at me and kill me)
I hate it when there are these little kids in charge of servers, and want to be total pricks about it.
Recollection:
*joins build server* *BAM-beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee* *clicks space bar, respawns, BAM Beeeeeeeeeeee, taps spacebar, BAM beeeeeeeeeee*
"Dude stop spawn killing me"
"I dont have to stop, Im admin heheheh lawlz ha *snorks* haaa"
My first day playing, I joined a flatgrass, for wiremod building, this one guy was like, "ah dude I found something really naughty for gmod download."
(someother dude) "haha download it download it!"
About 6 seconds later the first guy who talked, spawned a giant penis, which happened to be a vehicle, and one of them was driving it and saying over the mic "Weee Im riding a penis"
Then I typed: "Dude how does that NOT sound gay!?!?"
The guy who spawned it said "Your gay!" then turned me into a ragdoll, set me down, and hit me with a bouncy ball thing for like 10 minutes, and actually seemed like he was having fun. Then turned me back to normal, and did something to where I was running in circles automatically, it was my first day playing and the first online game I joined, I had no idea how to stop. I eventually quit though, after spawning a car and driving to the opposite end of the map, they undid the car though.
But all that was my first time in a online server... (If it sounds like Im ranting then Im sorry, i just want to know if anyone else has run into douche bags online in gmod)

But yeah, I agree, quite a few kiddies these days have sandbox servers and just abuse them. You can usually find some nice ones though where people will help you etc.
What annoys me on gmod, hmm?

They should ban online play for everyone under the age of 15, because you and I both know how people are in online games. Why people say "The 'N' word," they cant say that in real life, they're not bold enough to say a lot of things outside of a game. Idiots go on a flaming spree online because its the only place they can. Or at least take racial tolerance and etiquette classes.

Well, one time on gm_construct, i made a HUGE "hobo house" (made of nothing but boxes),
And the ADminge blew it all up, so i turned his fort invisible, then i raged quit.

Is it cool to say "minge" now? A lot of people have been using it. Almost as if they do think it's cool to say it.
Maybe because people don't like people who think clans on online games are cool

First time i played gmod it was offline because i couldnt go online of some bug, then i looked for hamachis and found one server there me and some other guy played gmod and no one else came.
Had a good time playing with him, we did traps to eachother and stuff, too bad that the guy once left and never came back :(
One thing pisses me off is when I'm on a RP server, I'm in the middle of building something then a thick bastard jumps into the shop and gets in my way, then they cry when I prop push them to get them out my shop..
What annoys me the most would be the download and loading time.
What also annoys me is the unorganized server list interface in multiplayer.
I remember when I got Garry's Mod 10 in 2006...Good times. Not really as much minge-bags back then. What pisses me off is lag. :sigh:

Guys. I'm 13 and I don't do that sort of thing. Banning online play for under 15's would ruin it for the rest of us who play like civilised people.

Being a server owner myself, I mainly hate the people who join the server for their first time, go "can i be admin?", and when I say no they disconnect forever :|

the word minge or mingebag refers to gmod 9 when your default name would be Mingebag, and therefore any new player would have the name mingebag.

I guess it's become such a popular word people have created a different meaning to it by simply adding a "ad." In case any of you don't know, minge is a slang word for a girl pubic area or vagina.

I.e. The word 'nub.'
I want you to say that outloud, think about it, think about how it sounds. It sounds like some high level retarded person on WoW or some shit tried to pronounce newb and said 'nub' instead. Since he was high level, little ignorant kids thought it was cool to say 'nub.'
I think I'm just getting old. I'm only 18, I remember the days when people said newbie. I'm almost scared to see what online video game slang sounds like in about 10 years. I'm sure someone will find an even more dumbed down word to use instead of 'nub.'

Nonsense, we can't take any chances, we'll send every child off to Easter Island at the age of 2, feed them peanut butter and cheese, only a year's supply, after that...they must find their own food, whether it be caught fish or their friends. If they survive till the age of 15 then we'll let them play team fortress 1, to play 2, we will toss the game into the middle of all of them and they must fight for it...TO DEATH!

Of course I'm kidding, although, what you've encountered is a stereotype, a stereotype that says younger players are annoying little brats. If your not one, well too bad, you're just going to have to avoid feeding the stereotype. It's not fair to say every Hispanic person in California is an illegal immigrant, most just happen to be but some aren't. Is it fair so say every white upper class kid is more prone to playfully saying the word 'nigger' because of racial ignorance due to lack of diversity in schools? Actually that is fair, I've seen it. I've went to public schools on military bases for most of my life and when I went to a private school for a year in high school, just about every little white snooty kid in that school had every new video game that came out, called each other 'niggers' then when teachers got on them, then they changed it to saying 'nikka.' Because they couldnt say the other. I lived in the ghetto and I heard every new rap song that came out, and TWO WEEKS LATER, the white kids at the private school just discovered it. That soulja boy shit, it took the kids I went to school with THREE weeks to find out about it.
