Hi, my ragdolls are in my addon folder and the Maps in the Map folder. Yet they do not appear.
I then made a seperate folder in my addon's folder entitled 'Ragdolls' respectively, then putting the ragdolls in there. I went to Garry's Mod and yet only some of the Ragdolls appeared, the others were just empty boxes. I tried downloading other ragdolls and doing the same process, but they don't even appear. The Maps are just in the maps folder. But don't appear on the map screen.
Please help.
Have you got the legal version, because it's a known problem with illegal ones.
Also, try to update your video card drivers.
I bought it off stream, so legal. My video card driver is a 9500 GT and it was only bought last month. Thanks for your input.
uhh are the maps .bsp ?
Correct, the maps are .bsp. Are they not suppose to be?
For the maps, if all else fails, you can always go to console and type:
[code]map PARTIAL MAP NAME/FULL MAP NAME[/code]
If you only use the partial map name, the rest of it will appear.
Then, hit enter.
If that doesn't work, then it's not installed correctly, or garrysmod is having a major fit.

Oh, this just occurred to me, about the maps, sometimes they will appear in the "other" catagory, if they don't have the gm_ prefix. That menu is closed by default, so go into the map list, scroll to the bottom, and click on "Other".

Update on the Ragdolls: I tried downloading more ragdolls, but putting them in the models folder instead of the addons, they appeared in GMOD but as blank boxes and won't spawn. Could anybody help?
Hi, the ragdolls still seem to not be spawning or appearing in GMOD. They're either placed in the ADDONS or models. The original is in Addons but there is a copy in models. The ones in models seem to be showing, but only some. Some don't appear at all, while for others the box appears but nothing in it and it won't spawn.
Please help.

Ragdolls are in models folder or addon folder. What models are you trying to spawn?
