Well just like the title says i have a serious rp server the only downside is it uses hamachi to play so if anybody is interested please feel free to email 232.nick@gmail.com for the hamachi user name,pass,and server ip.
Right now were in the testing mode so it would be nice to have any comments and suggestions on what we can improve on also.
Hamachi.....
yes if you dont know what that is its a program that connects directly yo my server. i use this because my linksys router refuses port forward properly
Buy a server ^^
See i would love to but i have no money to use for a server even tho some are really cheap
Mine is Xenon servers. $15 for 10 slots. If you cant afford that, GO MOW SOME LAWNS!
also i dont want to spend money on a server when i already own one i just cant get my linksys router to port forward. its a good router and all but is horrible for that.
Another good thing for xenon is it gets cheaper the more you get. 20 slots is only $17.50 where it should be $30 compared to the 10 slot. That is why xenon rocks when it comes to quantity. Don't forget all of it's goodies too. I'm using xenon for my serious rp server. Not a single spontanious crash or lag yet.
Xenon = Win
This is stupid, a Himatchi wont get anyone on it

do you mean nobody will want to connect to it or nobody can connect to it?
i have already tested it and people get into the game and connect and are able to play.

NOBODY will want to connect.
If you don't know why.....
Nobody will ever want to conndct to a laggy server if they could join a lag free large, popluar and in every way better server.
Take your pick?
nick232, you don't want to portforward yes? I also have linksys and had this problem. Turn DMZ mode on, set up a static IP and turn your firewall off. Simple as that no more port forwarding, just leaves you open, like a modem

Just don't DMZ if you don't have a software firewall. Good lord thats unsafe. Install one on your PC and forward ports on that, THEN DMZ your PC on the router.
