Every time my girlfriend tries to join any Gmod server she can play for a certain amount of time (it varies for no real reason) and then it will randomly do "Lost connection to server: Autodisconnect in ## seconds" at the top right of the screen, followed by her (obviously) being disconnected. It will then proceed to, whenever she joins the game, she gets a "Connection failed after 4 retries."
We've been trying to fix it but to no avail. What we've done so far with it is:
1) Reinstall Gmod.
2) Do a completely fresh install of Gmod.
3) Repaired Steam
4) Deleted the cfg folder
5) Deleted the blob
6) Reinstalled Steam
It is a mystery.
It may be her internet crapping up. Like loosing connection or some shit. Is the computer she's using on wired or wireless internet?
