to start with specs:
-2gb ram
-dual 2.8ghz processor
-nvidia Gforce 7500LE
When I play gmod I get 10-70ish fps spiking thing going on.It happens like every second. This problem only happens in garry's mod by the way. For other source games I can have higher graphic setings and not get this fps issue. I would realy much like help with this.
Do you have any other programs running when you play Garry's Mod?
What happens when you turn the graphical settings to the lowest possible?
Im down at a 7300 LE, and I don't get spikes, more constant 10-20fps.
If you want a better FPS, you could try closing background applications that takes up a lot of usage. I know [url=http://iobit.com/gamebooster.html]a program[/url] that does this and more as well.
