Hi. I recently bought a server.
I can't open my console, so I had to set my launch options to "- console" and I bound it to F8.
Now when I open my console, and I want to log into the RCON. (Let's assume my password is "cool")
I'm typing this: rcon_password cool
The console doesen't respond at all, it doesen't even give me an error message.
Any ideas?
Did you put in your rcon address? (rcon_address ---.---.---.---.-----)
I dont really know what else to say, ive never had anything like that.
You're better off running windowed mode at the current res and using HLSW to do all the rcon shit. Simple case of alt tab (and if you say it's too much work then it's your loss, I use this method all the time)
Yes, its rcon_address IP:port, then rcon_password Password. Then commands are executed via rcon Command.
