So I bought the Orange Box a couple weeks ago and I decided to download Gmod to see what all the rage was about. I installed Gmod 9 and downloaded the files for 10. Before I put in Gmod 10 I decided to try Gmod 9. Whenever I try to start up Gmod 9 I get the following error:
MountFileSystem( 241 ) failed: SteamMountFilesystem(6024,241,0xc56fd58=,0xc56fc48) failed with error 5: No Steam Content Servers are available

You don't have CS:S, if you are going to buy CS:S buy the bundled pack that comes with Gmod 10. It's $5 saved from individual price.
The answer to gmod 9 is "Get Gmod 10".
Garrysmod 9 requires either CS:S, HL2 or DOD:S. The Orange Box won't work with it. Besides, Gmod 9 and Gmod 10 feel totally different.
