This is a story of a small event which took place in a Dark RP server... Explained by myself.
In Dark RP you don't really expect to not see violence. It's one of the most common things in Dark RP at that. This day was weird though. No one seemingly was harming each other. That would all change though. At about 1200 hours a player joined the server. At first, he did nothing more then buy a house, roleplay, occasionally get some food for the hunger mod. Then a few other players joined. Something that was pretty common for the server I was on ,but something was wrong. All these new players which had joined the server automatically ran to the kids house ,and would stay in that area. Then one of them made a vote to become mayor. With his friends at hand. He became mayor. Then he began to impose laws which seemed quiet unfair to gun dealers. Everyone gun that a gun dealer sells. Said gun dealers must split 25% of profit with the mayor. Without doubt this skyrocketed gun prices for a meer deagle from $225 all the way to $300-$400. This sky rocket in the economy drove many players broke ,and caused several to just take up the hobo job ,and make mini-towns next too houses ,and in the sewers.
With that all done the next thing which happened was, the mayor demoted all the original cops ,and voted in all of these other new players. This rapid change in motion was frustrating to many of the cops who began to take up jobs of gangsters ,and hobos in hopes of escaping the tyranny of the mayor.
The next law this mayor imposed was that four check points be set up on Downtown_V2.
Checkpoint Alpha was directly in front of Spawn.
Checkpoint Bravo was at the midway point of Main Street
Checkpoint Charlie was infront of the first Warehouse.
Checkpoint Delta was near the yellow warehouse
Being caught with anything above a shotgun was considered against the law ,and you were immediately arrested for ten minutes. Outraged by the checkpoints the gang settled in the Yellow Warehouse. In an advert the Mobboss made a very decent wording. "Hotel Delegado Open! Come to Yellow Warehouse!"
This was not the truth though. Delegado was a code word for him to get people to make a settlement in the yellow warehouse. Quickly. Everyone of the civilians outraged by the new laws arrived at Hotel Delegado. I found myself following a gun dealer who had wanted to set up a new shop which could avoid Taxation Laws.
As we all settled ,and made a shop, cafe, and some sleeping areas we heard a knock on the door. I was chosen to answer the door. As I opened the door I see one of the Mayor's guards. I ask,"Hey, how can I help you?" He replied in a very silent voice,"Strike one. Remove the settlement." and leaves the area. We all took this as a practical joke ,but the mobboss was convinced other wise. With a request a barrier was built around the building of yellow warehouse ,and the building nearby.
Outraged. The mayor sent another one of his guards. He knocked at the front gate. Another player rushed to the mobboss with a letter. The mobboss told us what it said,"Dear Players, you have failed to see my request. In regards... We will be raiding in twenty minutes."
All of us flipped. We scrambled to get guns from a few of the gun dealers ,and improved on the wall to make it higher ,and have some hydraulic windows. I decided to share light on a contraption I brought from another server. A modded WOTS cannon concept which could launch wired explosives down the street. I set it up on top of the wall ,and had a friend shoot the gun once it was loaded.
We then saw the mayor's force build a small forward base at Checkpoint Charlie. At the time he did not notice we set up our cannon ,and we lugged off a shot directly at Checkpoint Charlie. With a blast... The checkpoints wooden pieces we're ignited. Even a few of the cops were ignited by the burst. Only one cop died ,but it was enough for them to leave Checkpoint Charlie in bare bone structure. A few people left the wall ,but my friend, myself ,and a few other waited for a counter attack.
In a decision our mobboss sent out a hobo scout to figure out why the CP's didn't rebuild Checkpoint Charlie. When the hobo reported back he came back with very grave news. In a report he stated that the CP's had build their own cannon ,and we're getting ready to fire shots off at us.
The hobo didn't lie.. Within minutes of the report a non-explosive prop was fired at the base with a note roped to it. I read the note first... "Surrender or face the consequences." The mobboss asked me too set up another cannon. As I set up another cannon my friend armed the first cannon with a wired explosive ,and waited for me to get ready. As soon as I got the second cannon ready ,and placed shot down for the second cannon group to use. Then a shot was fired at us. Reluctant we found out they missed by a few yards dealing harm to no one,but the mental effect rattled enough for non-cannon operators to move off the wall ,and back into the yellow warehouse.
Both cannons we're loaded ,and were fired directly at the CP's artillery position. The first shot airbursted ,but the second shot landed only inches from the CP gun emplacement rattling their gun ,and causing small wounds. The CP's quickly pulled their broken down gun away from the conflict. With a sigh of relief a few players crept to the front of the wall ,and began building small wooden house ,and shops. The mobboss still didn't believe it was safe.
Another hobo was sent out to see if the CP's were planning anything. Little did we know this was going to be the last recon of the hobo. As the hobo walked into the distant gun fire went off ,and the note went on the screen...
"Johny Mires arrested1"
The CP's were up to something. Our rumors became fact when in the distance a shadow began rolling on the streets. When it came into our firing distance we fired off one shot. Direct hit. The next thing we know though a player was complaining that we hit his car ,and it was now on fire.
Embarrassed we decided it was better to wait for the props to come into our ownership view next time. After awhile the mobboss told us to come down. We came down ,and he told us the new plan was for our settlement to take the area from yellow warehouse to...
The Gunshop
Ruins of Checkpoint Charlie
We agreed it was a good idea ,and he sent out his builders who quickly made a small trench line at Checkpoint Charlie ,and another group brought down the walls of Checkpoint Delta ,and expanded our grounds to the gunshop.
Immediately the buildings inside yellow warehouse were removed ,and spreaded out through the newly gained area. The only people remaining at the yellow warehouse were the gang ,and two civilians. The giant wall of the yellow warehouse stood though.
Karma came back to bite us on the ass though. I remember standing on the wall ,and hearing Boom! Boom! ,and instantly two of the houses next to the trenchline were in flames. Immediately I jumped into a loading position stunned at what had just happened. The second squad was running up the stairs to get to the second gun ,but it was too late... I heard another loud bang in the distance ,and a flamming explosive stabbed directly into one of the players ,and exploded killing both of them.
We adjusted our gun ,and got it to fire at the range of the CP's. I loaded the shot ,and with a bang it was on it's way to try ,and destroy the threat. We heard the bang ,but with our shot fired off a group of combine soldiers began rushing forward. Another shot was loaded ,and we fired directly in front of the trenchline killing one of the combine ,and wounding the others. As the shots were flying through the sky everyone of the civilians near the trenchline rushed back to the yellow warehouse not deleting their houses. Quickly the free gangster forces moved into the small villages ,and began to use the buildings as cover from enemy gun fire.
For some reason, cannon fire stopped for awhile until a gangster ran back wounded to 30hp ,and told the mobboss, "Broken Code" I asked somewhat dumbfounded,"Broken Code?" the reply was,"Our forces are close to being over runned... We need t
Where can one find this epicness?
To say the least... This was away from Chupa's. I actually ventured off to a random roleplay server.
