Mine are the following:
-Real life rp
-Live in fear rp
Post yours, even if it doesn't exist please post it!
My favorite types of roleplay go like this, in order:
1. Zombie/Apocalypse Roleplay
2. HL2RP
3. RP based off of games. (Fallout 3 etc.)
4. Anything Apocalypsey (If that's a word and I've already said it.
I've never tried Stalker RP, so I can't put it on my list. At the bottom of my list is Dark RP.
light/ build rp is my favorite
Real Life RP, more pacific, better for me :D

HL2 RP, Real life RP, and really anything that is passive.
Live in fear roleplay(fallout 1 and 2)

Actual RP isn't a type, a type would be something like a passive RP (Hl2 themed), or a active RP (something like emulating a life in reality, not a alternate universe). Actual RP does not cover any of them or inform us as to what RP you enjoy.

oh its definately darkrp for me, because most servers are usually overcrowded/empty, and anything half decent you make will be ruined within 10 minutes of completion because of a server crash or a mingebag who kills you and "claims" it for ITself, and every death is a random dm and you will get demoted for stealing a money printer, and the best bit is, if your in an authority position (mayor, cop, etc) you will get constantly killed by gangsters claiming that its the job (because hating authority is part of the gangsters job (the rest being drug dealing and stealing, which isnt fun or easy to do, and the worst bit is that you dont piss anyone off, because, thats your job right? to piss people off?) that the gangster does, so the mayor should just sit in a box (but that would be prop blocking, unfortunately) and farm $ which is pretty much everyone wants to do, and therefore wont rp properly (in reality, they will go to a bar and get shitfaced, in darkrp they will say the exact same thing is a waste of money and time, and spend it all on guns so they can dm a little more, and when you ask for the cops to kill them, they will either:
1. piss their pants and dc
2. join the gangsters
3. fight back and win, only to be killed again because the NLR is a fascist rule made by butthurt n00bs, aint that true?
that is why dark rp is my utmost FAVOURITE type of roleplay, where the server is either indistinguishable from a build server, or goes WAY too far and replaces all the sweps (physgun, gravgun, toolgun) with extremely shit sweps like hands and toolkit, which have the range the distance of a flacid dick and require einstein to figure out how to use properly.

I suppose I can be down with any sort of roleplay as long as it isn't ungodly restrictive (Kuroscript and Tacoscript, i'm looking at you - why do only donators, admin's friends, and admins themselves have any, not to mention ALL, of the power [i]and[/i] the decent RP?!), and there's an element of some sort of self-personality, like choosing your own model or such and being able to actually make a character, instead of being "butthurter341" running around as Kleiner.
