Steam validation rejected Non-steam Gmod11

I keep getting the same error message when trying to join a server.
It trys for about two seconds then goes to the Steam Validation Rejected screen and puts me back to the
menu.

This is also a Non-steam Garrysmod 11 witch i dont know how to update or if you could adapt it to steam or something, and yes i did buy it.

i got it without steam downloading it
So my steam account doesnt show the game in the games tab
