I tried downloading one the old fashioned way (putting the folder into the addons folder) but It would not work. If anyone knows how to put gmod.org files into gmod 13 I would really appreciate it if you would tell me. Thank you.
The GMOD 13 addons use an addon.txt, you'll have to change the name of the text file
The GMOD 13 addons use an addon.txt, you'll have to change the name of the text file
I did it and it worked thanks allot BenjaminTennison me and my friends are working on gmod videos and I needed a couple of extra mods to do it what were only on gmod.org so again thanks a bunch.
That seems a bit weird since:
The Legacy Addon System previously required an addon.txt file in the addon folder. This is no longer the case. This requirement has been removed for ease of use. This means that any GMod 12 addons you have in addons/ will start mounting again.
http://garrysmod.com/post/44073908112/gmod-update-158 So that shouldn't have been the problem.
