There is a size limit when downloading workshop files this way.

I can't remmeber how garry changed it recently, but I think you can just put the addon file into addons manually (Download it on your client and upload it into the servers addon folder).

So you upload scars_basic_104487316.gma for example to srcds/garrysmod/addons/
If this doesn't work use [url=http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1173875]this[/url] to extract them.

Also, may I take a moment to tell you 2 things. First this is the wrong section and mods here are unforgiving whores who will probably ban you for 1-3 days. Enjoy.

Secondly you should really never actually use the workshop.vdf file on a server since you are giving each of those addon authors the potential to get full access to your entire server.

In case anyone is looking for answers, I used the .gma file from my client and used it on the server.
