Hello, i've been trying to host my own listen server for GMOD 10, but I can't get it to function properly. I've forwarded port 27015 for UDP and TCP Traffic and it's still doesn't work. I've tried assigning a DHCP reservation on my router for my computer so that i'm sure it's not the IP. Also, i've reset the router multiple times yet people still cannot access my server. The server shows up in the list but it has a [L] next to the gamemode (does it stand for LAN?). If anyone knows what i am doing wrong it would be much appreciated.
the [L] is appended to Listen Servers, those servers that are hosted from a desktop or similar system.
If it's showing up in the list, check and see what IP it's giving out. If it's something like "192.168.1.xxx", and you're viewing it from the standard multiplayer server browser (Not local games), then it's a LAN server. If it's giving out your external IP, then it should be working properly.
Make sure you've got sv_lan set to 0, and you've done the heartbeat command once or twice

Ok, i checked to see what IP it was giving out. It's giving out my external IP address. So it should be working properly. I'll try it out later on with a friend ( i may even try telling him to use connect xx.xx.xx.xx:27015)
Alright then, best of luck!
