Hello there, it's me Pancakes. I'm here, once more, to tell you all about this gamemode I'm making. This time, it's a RP gamemode. I know there will likely be nay-sayers, however I feel informed to tell you this will not be another DarkRP edit, nor another PERP. This gamemode, which I'm calling for now, Suburbia. This is if it ever gets more popular, in which case I'll update it and rename it to something to accomadate more players. Currently, I have a lot planned, but nowhere near as much done as so.
Currently, I have a working handcuff SWEP, and I'm betting your thinking it's the same thing as the arrest Baton, well yes and no. It won't instantly teleport people to jail, which I don't know how in god's name that happens in real life, but rather it prevents them from picking up weapons and using objects. So basically, it's like they have no hands. Not big suprise, but not only this there is a fist SWEP. No, it doesn't immediately kill you. Rather, the gamemode, much like the game "The Ship" has needs, or rather the people that play the gamemode. One certain need in particular, "Energy" keeps track of how much stamina you have. Getting punched takes a chunk out of it, and when there is none left, that person passes out. However, it takes a large amount of succesful swings before they'll drop. When they do, you can go over and snap their neck.
But be warned, it won't let you get off scot free. It leaves a body, and the police can examine it. When they do, your done.
These are just a few features I'm working on.
Now as to why this won't be PERP-ish, the reason behind that is, I'm going to make it Open Source if it gets real popular on my testing server. So if anyone steals it, the only one they'll have hurt is themselves as it hurts the gamemode. It currently also has a custom map in the work for it, "RP_samstown". So please, come on in and share your thoughts, as long as their not to be a pessimist.
