I just bought an acer aspire 5532 with a 16:9 ratio. i cant, however set up garrys mod to run in 16:9. i went into options>video>changed 4:3 to 16:9, pushed apply, then pushed ok. nothing happens, if i go back into options, it still says it is in 4:3. any help would be......yeah just help mmkay?
No you need to set your resolution to a 16:9 Ratio.

Set 16:9 then set your resolution to a resolution your computer and Monitor can handle E.G 1680x1050 or 1366x768
