Hey, my server is keeping lan no matter what I do.
I start it on a batch file and it's all setup. There's even a sv_lan 0 command in the server.cfg file.
I have ports fowarded from 27000 - 27030 and my server is running on 27011 - 27014 so that's well in range.
I used the heartbeat trick in the console but still nothing. Can someone lead my to the right direction?
Some modems\routers have this thing when every port is diffrent. Eg. if you have port 5 - 12 open, and you run a program on port 6. It will not work because port 6 needs to be opened.
Try setting your server on a port, and have that exact port forwarded.
27011 - 27014 [b]are not[/b] open.
27000 - 27030 [b]are[/b] open
Trying your server on ports that are not forward will lead into things like this.
